I have to disagree with you both.
Don't get me wrong. The Bends was my first Radiohead album, and on an individual, track-by-track basis, it's still my sentimental favorite. And Kid A is incredible, too.
However...when you add up the sum of its parts, OK Computer is one of the most incisive and visionary albums ever made. By any band.
And given today's events, its lyric "When I go forwards, you go backwards, and somewhere, we will meet." is more salient than ever before. At least in America.
