For almost two years this blog provided a thought every weekday with questions on Fridays. Now I post when inspiration strikes. Keep in mind as you read down the page, the posts are in reverse-chronological order.

Whatever.
Unless of course you take pride in your communication with others.
Treat emails like you're writing a letter. Not a text message. Sure, they take longer to write, but they're more enjoyable to read.
I don't always do this though. No time for it. Great insight Balser. Later.
Such a GREAT blog today Dan. You are SO smart.
You're right. That didn't feel good at all. Email sarcasm just makes you look like an ass. Carry on.
as are headlines, i'm learning...
A lot of meaning is lost in any form of communication that isn't face to face communication and then even that gets spotty at times.
Within the context of face to face, meaning is conveyable through facial expression, eye contact, gestures, tone and volume. I'm sure I'm missing some, but you get the gist.
Wait wait wait. Do you mean to tell me that tone of voice is hard to convey in the written word. I find this truly hard to believe. I'm flabbergasted d by this. Any more insights like this to share with the world, for instance water is harder to drink when it's frozen.
I think you can do it, you just have to amp it up, and you know not worry about being an ass.
